Cocktails on tap
A cocktail served by the glass from a tap, out of a reusable keg — the same ECOFASS system as wine on tap, at the bar or at an event.
Cocktails on tap
What are cocktails on tap?
Serving a cocktail from a tap, like a beer or a wine on tap: the drink is held in a flexible pouch inside a reusable keg, and the dispensing gas pushes the pouch without ever coming into contact with it. The keg connects to the standard coupler heads used across the hospitality trade — at the bar or at an event, every glass is poured with a single motion, identical from the first to the last.

Common misconceptions
"Taps are for beer", "the gas alters the drink", "it needs a dedicated installation": the objections are the same as for wine on tap, and so are the answers — in an ECOFASS keg, the gas never meets the drink.
The gas never touches the drink
The oxygen-barrier pouch separates the drink from the dispensing gas: it compresses the pouch without ever coming into contact with the contents.
A standard installation
The kegs work with type "A" or "S" coupler heads and connect to the standard taps used in bars and restaurants.
A fresh pouch for every keg
The pouch is single-use: the inside of the keg never touches the drink, and there is no cleaning to plan for.

Comparison: cocktail by the glass or on tap
Made glass by glass at the counter, or poured from a tap: the difference is not the recipe, it is the motion and the container. The detailed format comparison — keeping time, glass equivalence, packaging — is published on the Comparisons page; here is what changes at service.
| Criterion | Cocktail by the glass | Cocktail on tap |
|---|---|---|
| Service motion | Mix every glass to order | Pour by the glass from the tap |
| Air contact | At every preparation | Never — oxygen-barrier pouch |
| Container | Opened ingredient bottles | Deposit-based reusable keg, single-use pouch |

Frequently asked questions
The two questions professionals ask when they discover the format: how the system works, and what it changes at service. Each answer stands on its own.
An ECOFASS system holds the drink in a flexible pouch placed inside a reusable keg, then serves it by the glass from a tap: the gas compresses the pouch without ever touching the contents. For cocktails the principle is the same as for wine — the keg connects to a standard type "A" or "S" coupler head, and every glass is poured like a draught beer. The single-use pouch retracts as service goes on and removes any keg cleaning.
Serving a cocktail from a tap means fast, consistent service by the glass: the motion comes down to pouring, at the bar or at an event. The container follows the same durable logic as the rest of the ECOFASS range — a deposit-based, reusable keg, a single-use pouch, made in France. And since the dispensing gas never touches the drink thanks to the barrier pouch, what you serve is exactly what went into the pouch.
